Pattern

Alrighty here goes the first run of my new pattern. If you find and error anywhere or have a suggestion feel free to tell me - any assistance to make this the perfect pattern would be much appreciated. (positve comments welcome to)

Made with size 10 merchandized cotton and a 1mm hook

Stitches used are chain (ch), double crochet (dc), tripple crochet (tc) and slip stich (sl st)

Ch 12, sl st to form a ring.
Round 1 Ch 2 dc 24 in ring, Sl st in 2nd ch to join
Round 2 Ch 3 *tr in next dc, ch 1, repeat from * join with sl
Round 3 Ch 3 *tr in next ch sp, ch 2, repeat from * join with sl
Round 4 Ch 5 *tr in next 2ch sp, ch 3, repeat from * join with sl
Round 5 Ch 4 *tr in same ch sp, ch 1 tr in next ch sp, ch1, repeat from * join

 Your bowl base should be looking something like this, if it isn't flat then the tension may be wrong. Try a larger hook, I've found this helped on slightly thicker yarn.- now we start building up the sides.


Round 6 Ch 3 tr in same ch sp, *2 tr in next ch sp, repeat from * join

Round 7 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 4 times ch 1 tr in next tr sp repeat from *, join
Round 8 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 4 times ch 2 tr in next tr sp repeat from *, join


Notice its starting to curve up? I've taken a few shots of the next bit just in case you want a reference to work against. The rest of the bowl continues much the same.


Round 9 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 4 times ch 3 tr in next tr sp repeat from *, join

Round 10 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 4 times, ch 2, tr in ch sp, ch 2, tr in next tr sp repeat from *. Join
Round 11 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 4 times, ch 3, tr in ch sp, ch 2, tr in next tr sp repeat from *. Join
Round 12 Ch 3 *tr in next tr sp 3 times, ch 3, tr in ch sp, ch 3, tr in next tr sp repeat from *. Join
